University of Oregon journalism student Alex Guarino assesses the rows of trees at the Northern Lights Christmas Tree Farm for her next photo assignment. The farm in Pleasant Hill, Oregon attracts many media outlets throughout the year because it is a family run business with nearly 162 acres of land that opens itself to the public for the perfect pumpkin in the fall and the prettiest tree in the winter.
